Last week we attended Imaging USA in Phoenix and took a few days after the convention to recharge a bit in Palm Springs California. I can't get enough of California especially the weather in Palm Springs. It was a welcome break from the -10 temperatures we have been experiencing lately.
I didn't spend as much time photographing as I would have liked but sometimes you just have to take it all in without the camera in front of your face.
Here are a few of my favorites.
Palm Springs is well known for it's aerial tram and everyone takes photographs of the gondola's but I found the station at the top of the mountain very cool. Reminds me of a Transformer toy.
In West Virginia we have quite a few windmills for wind energy but they are very serious about wind energy in California.
Palm Springs has Village Fest every Thursday evening when all kids of artists and street vendors show off their products. So much talent! Picked up lots of new ideas just walking down the street.
The Salton Sea was an interesting place for sunset photography. I will definitely make a trip back to this area when I have more time.
